November Mass Intentions for deceased loved ones

Clearly print the deceased name(s) on it so they are recorded accurately in our Book of Remembrance. Catholic tradition designates November as the month to honour the dead. As a result, the process for managing intentions is different. To submit a November intention, take a special envelope from the church side door racks.Print the name(s) of those requesting the intention. Insert any donation in the envelope and submit it to the Parish Office through the post latch in the Office door. Intentions will be honoured by Parish clergy and priests to whom intentions are forwarded.

All Saints and All Souls

Image
All Saints (1 November) and All Souls (2 November) are related Solemnities. They both honour the faithful who have died. All Saints celebrates those who enjoy fullness of life in eternity because of their holy lives. All Souls focuses on the faithful who are destined for life in eternity after purification (Purgatory). Catholics believe that the souls of these faithful can be assisted by the prayers of the iving. The Saints, the Souls in Purgatory and the living faithful comprise the complete Church community.
