Fr Likisone Tominiko appointed as Assistant Priest
We welcome Fr Likisone Tominiko, who begins his appointment as Assistant Priest of All Saints Liverpool and St Therese Sadleir Miller next Sunday, 4 August. Fr Likisone was ordained on 11 July. He says: I am of Samoan background. Born in Samoa but came here and was raised in Bankstown. I attended St Brendan’s Central Bankstown and LaSalle Catholic College. I entered Seminary in 2017 with a class of 14. 10 of us remain, and are ordained to the Priesthood, with 4 for Sydney and the rest for another diocese across Australia. Just turned 31 on the 29th of June and am the seventh of eight siblings. My hobbies are rugby, volleyball, football (Soccer), painting, drawing, singing (sadly the in-strument angel didn’t get to me in time) as well as walks and reading. I am delighted and humbled to begin my ministry at All Saints , which I know all too well. I frequented this very Church as a layperson when I worked and had Samoan Masses here in the past. Please pray for me as I begin to serve God’s people in All Saints and St Therese.
