All Saints Catechists’ Awards

Elizabeth Ryan, Shirley Lohoar and Elizabeth Guisti will be acknowledged by Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP at the annual Catechists Mass in St Mary’s Cathedral this Sunday, 10 November for their outstanding ministry to Catholic children in the five State Primary Schools in the Parish.

Elizabeth and Shirley will receive the Life Members Award for 30 years of service. Elizabeth Giusti will be awarded an Apostolic Blessing for 20 years of service. Elizabeth and Shirley are unable to attend due to ill health. A special presentation will be organised for them in due course. Please pray for all award winners, their colleagues who do such wonderful work and for others to join them in their vital ministry.

Masses in All Saints' church are: 7am 8am (Italian), 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1pm, 6pm (Polish) and  7.30pm. Masses at  All Saints Catholic College  will be at  9am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) and  12.30pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a  day of fasting and abstinence (no meat) . Catholics  18 – 59 are bound to fast . Catholics  older than 13 are bound to abstain .

Christmas Day – Wednesday 25 December: 7am, 8.15am (Italian), 9.30am, 11am & 6.30pm (Polish). No 5pm English Mass.
