Jesse Tree Kits for Advent

The Jesse Tree is an ancient tradition that tells the Christian story in pictures from creation to the birth of Jesus. Just as we decorate our Christmas tree, we decorate our Jesse Tree to honour the ancestors of Jesus and his family in preparation for his coming at Christmas. Families attending Zacchaeus Treehouse this Sunday are welcome to take home a Jesse Tree Kit. During Advent, which begins next Sunday, they are invited to place the 24 symbols on the Tree as an Advent family prayer. It is a great way to prepare for Christmas as a family.

Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a  day of fasting and abstinence (no meat) . Catholics  18 – 59 are bound to fast . Catholics  older than 13 are bound to abstain .

Christmas Day – Wednesday 25 December: 7am, 8.15am (Italian), 9.30am, 11am & 6.30pm (Polish). No 5pm English Mass.
