All Saints a Jubilee 2025 “Place of Pilgrimage”


Last Friday, Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP proclaimed All Saints' church as one of twelve “Places of Pilgrimage “ during Jubilee 2025.

This means that the faithful can receive full Jubilee indulgences by attending the Sacrament of Reconciliation, celebrating Mass and receiving Holy Communion and praying for the intentions of the Pope (Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network).

The Church’s teaching on indulgences is found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, articles 1472-79, 1498. An indulgence removes the temporal punishment due to sin after the sin has been forgiven and associated guilt eliminated.

Indulgences may be partial or plenary according to whether they remove part of all or the punishment due to sin. The “full Jubilee indulgence” is plenary in kind.

Masses in All Saints' church are: 7am 8am (Italian), 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1pm, 6pm (Polish) and  7.30pm. Masses at  All Saints Catholic College  will be at  9am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) and  12.30pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a  day of fasting and abstinence (no meat) . Catholics  18 – 59 are bound to fast . Catholics  older than 13 are bound to abstain .
