Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) Lenten Appeal


All Saints Parish supports the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) in Advent and Lent. Donations go directly to refugee and asylum seeker people with no access to Federal Government support. Parishioners are welcome to bring one non-perishable food item each Sunday in Lent according to the following schedule:

SUNDAY     ITEM

9 March        Basmati Rice (1 Kg, 2Kg, 5 Kg)

16 March     Cooking oil (750ml/L or 2L bottles

23 March     Dried red lentils

30 March     Dishwashing detergent

6 April         Laundry detergent

13 April       Long life milk

Masses in All Saints' church are: 7am 8am (Italian), 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1pm, 6pm (Polish) and  7.30pm. Masses at  All Saints Catholic College  will be at  9am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) and  12.30pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a  day of fasting and abstinence (no meat) . Catholics  18 – 59 are bound to fast . Catholics  older than 13 are bound to abstain .

Sacrament of Reconciliation Sat. 21 Dec.: 10am-11am; 4.15pm-4.45pm; Thurs. 19 Dec.: 7.30pm-9.30pm. Christmas Mass times Christmas Eve – Tuesday 24 December: 6pm (Family Mass), 8pm, 9.30pm (Polish) & Midnight (carols from 11.30pm). Christmas Day – Wednesday 25 December: 7am, 8.15am (Italian), 9.30am, 11am & 6.30pm (Polish). No 5pm English Mass.
