Christian Initiation of Adults - The 3rd Scrutiny

On this 5th Sunday of Lent, the last of the RCIA Rites of Scrutiny is celebrated. The Raising of Lazarus (Jn 11:1-45) from St John’s Gospel is proclaimed, in which Jesus exhibits the power of life over death. While the Elect (those seeking Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist) are the immeidte subjects of the Scrutiny Rites, all worshippers are urged to participate in solidarity with them by scrutinising and re-newing our own faith commitment. In this way, the Elect offer witness for the whole faith community.

Masses at  All Saints Catholic College  will be at  9am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) and  12.30pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a  day of fasting and abstinence (no meat) . Catholics  18 – 59 are bound to fast . Catholics  older than 13 are bound to abstain .

Fr Ronny leaving All Saints

Fr Ronny D'Cruz is leaving All SAints' and St  Therese Parishes. His superiors in the Neocate-chumenal Way have assigned him to St Francis of Assisi Parish, Humpty Do in Northern Territory as Assistant Priest. He will celebrate his final Mass at 11am on Sunday, 19 January 2025. A reception will follow in the Hall.
