22 young people to be initiated into the Church

Four young people will be signed with the cross and anointed with the Oil of Catechumens during 5pm Vigil Mass on Saturday, 5 July, in preparation for their baptism during 11am Mass on Sunday, 6 July. They will then join 18 colleagues at the same Mass to receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. It will be the culmination of a 10 week preparation program, led by Pina Bernard, Parish Sacramental Coordinator. It is a powerful manifestation of the movement of the Holy Spirit in All Saints and another fruit of our Mission to share the love of Christ. Please keep all involved in your prayers.

Masses at  All Saints Catholic College  will be at  9am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) and  12.30pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a  day of fasting and abstinence (no meat) . Catholics  18 – 59 are bound to fast . Catholics  older than 13 are bound to abstain .
