Farewell Mass of Fr Vittorio Basso CS - 5 October


Fr Vittorio Basso, CS, will say his farewell Mass at All Saints at 8.15am next Sunday, 5 October. All are welcome. Fr Vittorio has retired from full time ministry due to ill health. He has made a wonderful contribution to the long and rich tradition of ministry to the Italian community in All Saints by the Scalabrini priests. His ministry has extended to the Italian communities in the Parish of St Jerome’s Punchbowl and the Scalabrini Villages in Chipping Norton and Austral. He will continue his ministry in the Scalabrini Village at Austal where he will reside. We pray in thanksgiving for Fr Vittorio’s ministry in All Saints and for him and his community as he begins a new chapter in his life.

Masses in All Saints' church are: 7am 8am (Italian), 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1pm, 6pm (Polish) and  7.30pm. Masses at  All Saints Catholic College  will be at  9am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) and  12.30pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a  day of fasting and abstinence (no meat) . Catholics  18 – 59 are bound to fast . Catholics  older than 13 are bound to abstain .

Christmas Mass times Christmas Eve – Tuesday 24 December: 6pm (Family Mass), 8pm, 9.30pm (Polish) & Midnight (carols from 11.30pm). Christmas Day – Wednesday 25 December: 7am, 8.15am (Italian), 9.30am, 11am & 6.30pm (Polish). No 5pm English Mass.
