Liturgies for All Saints and All Souls Days

The Church decrees that next Sunday, 2 November, the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls’ Day) takes precedence over the 31st Sunday of Ordinary Time. The advice of the Archdiocesan Liturgy Office is to omit the Gloria but include the Creed.

 The 5pm Vigil Mass next Saturday, 1 November, will be for the Solemnity of All Saints. It includes the Gloria and Creed.

Masses in All Saints' church are: 7am 8am (Italian), 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1pm, 6pm (Polish) and  7.30pm. Masses at  All Saints Catholic College  will be at  9am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) and  12.30pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a  day of fasting and abstinence (no meat) . Catholics  18 – 59 are bound to fast . Catholics  older than 13 are bound to abstain .

Christmas Mass times Christmas Eve – Tuesday 24 December: 6pm (Family Mass), 8pm, 9.30pm (Polish) & Midnight (carols from 11.30pm). Christmas Day – Wednesday 25 December: 7am, 8.15am (Italian), 9.30am, 11am & 6.30pm (Polish). No 5pm English Mass.
