4th Sunday of Advent


On this 4th Sunday of Advent, we light the “Angel’s Candle” of Peace, recognizing that Jesus born in a Bethlehem is the Prince of Peace. His teaching and companionship, especially in hard times, offers us reassurance enabling peace. At the same time, it reminds us that as his disciples, we are called to be peacemakers.

Ash Wednesday Masses in All Saints church: 7:00 am 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1:00 pm 6:00 pm (Polish) 7.30 pm. Masses at All Saints Catholic College: 9:00 am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) 12.5 0pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a day of fasting and abstinence (no meat). Catholics aged 18 to 59 are bound to fast and older than 13, to abstain.
