24 hours for the Lord — 20-21 March

24 hours for the Lord is an extended time of Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, introduced by the late Pope Francis in 2014 to enhance Lenten renewal. It will be held from 6pm on Friday, 20 March to 4.30pm on Saturday, 21 March. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered at three times: Friday, 6.30pm-7.30pm, Saturday, 9.45am-10.45am and 3.45pm-4.45pm. It is important that at least two worshippers are in the church at any time. Please register your name one of the roster sheets on the church side doors tables in the period you commit to being present.

Ash Wednesday Masses in All Saints church: 7:00 am 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1:00 pm 6:00 pm (Polish) 7.30 pm. Masses at All Saints Catholic College: 9:00 am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) 12.5 0pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a day of fasting and abstinence (no meat). Catholics aged 18 to 59 are bound to fast and older than 13, to abstain.
