24 hours for the Lord

24 hours for the Lord is an extended time of Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, introduced by the late Pope Francis in 2014 to enhance Lenten renewal. It will be held from 6pm this Friday, 20 March to 4.30pm this Saturday, 21 March. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered at 3 times: Friday, 6.30pm-7.30pm, Saturday, 9.45am-10.45am and 3.45pm-4.45pm. It is important that at least two worshippers are in the church at any time. Please register your name on one of the roster sheets on the church side doors tables in the period slot that you commit to being present. Sainthood Young Adults will lead a Praise and Worship Hour from 8-9pm. They extend a special welcome to young adults to join them in song, reflection and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.

Ash Wednesday Masses in All Saints church: 7:00 am 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1:00 pm 6:00 pm (Polish) 7.30 pm. Masses at All Saints Catholic College: 9:00 am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) 12.5 0pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a day of fasting and abstinence (no meat). Catholics aged 18 to 59 are bound to fast and older than 13, to abstain.
