Congratulations from Archbishop Fisher OP

Fr Paul received the following message from Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP last week:

It was with great joy and privilege to celebrate the Rite of Election last Sunday. Gathering at the Cathedral for this important moment in the journey of faith is always deeply moving, and I was particularly struck and heartened this year by the number of catechumens and candidates presented from All Saints Parish. Their presence stands as a clear tribute to the evangelical dedication of All Saints Parish, to the generosity of your candidates and sponsors, and to the spirit of welcome that evidently characterises your parish life. Such fruits are born of faithful witness and a community that truly lives its mission. Please convey my sincere gratitude to all who have been involved in preparing our soon-to-be Catholics. Be assured that I will con-tinue to pray for them, our elect and candidates, throughout the sacred season of Lenten preparation and into the joy of the Pas-chal celebration. May they enter ever more deeply into the mysteries of Christ’s saving death and resurrection, and find in Him the fullness of life.
