Rite of Election in St Mary’s Cathedral

Congratulations to our Catechumens (seeking full membership in the Church through Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist), who were part of the 338 accepted as Elect by Archbishop Fisher OP in St Mary’s Cathedral last Sunday. Our Candidates (already baptised, seeking Confirmation and Eucharist) were part of 119 others desiring the same. Please pray for our Elect, Candidates and Team during their Lenten preparation.

Ash Wednesday Masses in All Saints church: 7:00 am 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1:00 pm 6:00 pm (Polish) 7.30 pm. Masses at All Saints Catholic College: 9:00 am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) 12.5 0pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a day of fasting and abstinence (no meat). Catholics aged 18 to 59 are bound to fast and older than 13, to abstain.
