The Sacred Triduum—2-5 April


The Sacred Triduum (“three days”) extends from the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday to Evening Prayer on Easter Sunday. Its three major liturgies focus on different aspects of the Paschal Mystery (suffering, death and resurrection) of Christ.

Ash Wednesday Masses in All Saints church: 7:00 am 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1:00 pm 6:00 pm (Polish) 7.30 pm. Masses at All Saints Catholic College: 9:00 am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) 12.5 0pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a day of fasting and abstinence (no meat). Catholics aged 18 to 59 are bound to fast and older than 13, to abstain.
