All Saints outreach with Catholic Care


Congratulations to all involved in preparing and hosting the Mass and Blessing for Hope, Healing and Gratitude and lunch in the Hall afterwards for Catholic Care clients and their carers last Thursday. 41 guests attended, with 9 carers, 10 Catholic Care staff and 12 Parish volunteers supporting them. Thank you to Michelle Fonti, Parish Outreach Coordinator, for her vision and leadership in collaboration with Jacqueline Willoughby, Manager, Chaplaincy in Community, from Catholic Care. Thank you to the volunteers who made the guests so welcome, Gina Fattal for coordinating the food and drink, Parish staff, Kim Mannix for the music in Mass, Fr Joseph for celebrating Mass and Frs Michael and Paul for helping him administer the Sacrament of Anointing. Everyone is keen to make this event a fixture in the Parish calendar.

Ash Wednesday — 18 Mar

Ash Wednesday Masses in All Saints church: 7:00 am 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1:00 pm 6:00 pm (Polish) 7.30 pm. Masses at All Saints Catholic College: 9:00 am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) 12.5 0pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a day of fasting and abstinence (no meat). Catholics aged 18 to 59 are bound to fast and older than 13, to abstain.
