Laudato Si’ Week (17-24 May)
Laudato Si’ Week (17-24 May) marks the 11th anniversary of Pope Francis’ Encyclical on caring for creation, which he identifies as essential to Christian discipleship. He calls every member of the Church to see the earth as our “sister”, “mother” and “common home”. This year, we are invited to move from hope to action in caring for the environment through small, practical projects, such as putting waste in appropriate bins, recycling, turning off taps, limiting shower time and purchase of water in plastic bottles, providing refundable bottles and cans for Fr Ronny’s appeal and praying for greater ecological consciousness and commitment.
The All Saints Laudato Si’ Group meets at 7pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month in Loreto Place, Room 2. The next meeting is Tuesday, 9 June. All are welcome.
