Sea Sunday 2026—12 Jul


Today is Sea Sunday. Christian Churches throughout the world pray for seafarers and their families and give thanks for them. Seafarers ensure that more than 90% of the products we rely on for daily living arrive safely and consistently. They spend long periods away from their families and countries, often working in demanding conditions. Sea Sunday is supported in the Catholic Church by Stella Maris, formerly The Apostleship of the Sea. It cares for the spiritual, social and material needs of seafarers on merchant, passenger, war or fishing vessels, whatever their nationality, culture or religion. Ash Wednesday — 18 Mar

Ash Wednesday Masses in All Saints church: 7:00 am 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1:00 pm 6:00 pm (Polish) 7.30 pm. Masses at All Saints Catholic College: 9:00 am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) 12.5 0pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a day of fasting and abstinence (no meat). Catholics aged 18 to 59 are bound to fast and older than 13, to abstain.
