Youth Choir Workshop

65 young people attended the Youth Choir Workshop last Wednesday. The day started with 9.15am Mass. The young people learned hymns, played games (with bingo the highlight), reflected on two Scripture texts that focused on the commitment needed to follow Jesus and finished the day with prayer in the church. Pizzas at lunch are always popular. Thank you to Dominique Farah, the event coordinator, Preeya Stanley, Nicole El Jreidi and Taylor Williams, all staff of All Saints Catholic College, leaders from All Saints Youth, parents who assisted and Frs Sone and Paul. A Spring Workshop will take place on Wednesday, 14 October.

Ash Wednesday Masses in All Saints church: 7:00 am 9.15am (with ASCC K-Yr 4), 1:00 pm 6:00 pm (Polish) 7.30 pm. Masses at All Saints Catholic College: 9:00 am (Yrs 5-10 – Liverpool campus) 12.5 0pm (Yrs 11-12 – Casula campus). Ash Wednesday (like Good Friday) is a day of fasting and abstinence (no meat). Catholics aged 18 to 59 are bound to fast and older than 13, to abstain.
