Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

RCIA is for anyone who is not Catholic but interested in learning more about our Catholic faith, with the possibility of joining the Church in due course. The 2025-2026 has begun but it is not too late to join. We are blest with 18 enquirers. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact our Sacramental Coordinator: pina@cpasl.org.au.

RCIA is a gentle, systematic and supportive journey into the Catholic faith with an experienced team. It proceeds through a number of stages during which participants can choose to continue or not. For those who discern that they wish to join the Church, it culminates with the celebration of the sacraments of initiation during the Vigil Mass of the Lord’s Resurrection on Easter Saturday night. It is the highlight of our liturgical year.
